A funeral service is a way for relatives and friends to express their sorrow and show their concern for survivors. Our goal at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home is to assist families in designing a funeral service which serves each families unique needs. For this reason we provide a wide variety of service options to fit the needs of all the families we serve. We have tailored our professional offerings into many different packages to match each families desired level of service and price. In addition to the many package options we offer, every family has the option of customizing our service to fit their needs. The following illustrate some of the many packages that we have available:
The Traditional Evening Visitation and Service: This package is the funeral that many refer to as the traditional service, however it can be tailored in many ways to suit the needs of the family. It includes all professional services of the funeral directors, preparation of the body, all use of funeral home vehicles, use of the funeral home facilities for evening visitation or the set up, clean up and attendants for an evening visitation at another site, such as a church or cemetery chapel. The package also includes all printed merchandise, such as register book, prayer cards and acknowledgment cards.
The One Day Visitation and Service: This package includes all of the service and printed merchandise included in the Traditional Evening Package, however it had been tailored for those individuals who feel more comfortable with the visitation and ceremony being completed in a single day. This package can be selected with one or two hours of visitation the morning of the service.
The Morning Service: This package includes a brief open casket visitation (one half hour) for immediate family members followed by a funeral service open to all friends and relatives. This package is often chosen by families who want a chance to say a final good bye to their family member, but do not want a public open casket visitation.
The Graveside Service: This service is designed for families who desire a simpler funeral service option. A public or private service is held at the cemetery chapel or graveside. There is no visitation or public viewing.
Immediate Burial with Memorial Service: This option consists of a private burial combined with a memorial service at the funeral home or church of the families choice. This option serves the needs of families who desire a service to remember the deceased but do not feel comfortable with a service in which the body is present.
