Angela M. Heun

Angela Heun passed away in her home on May 23rd, 2023. She was a lover of beauty, with a gift for seeing the extraordinary in art, nature and other people. Her garden was one of her greatest pleasures, and anyone who was lucky enough to experience it was struck by her understanding of life in all its forms. She traveled widely, guided by a deep curiosity about the world, and always returned with stories full of humor and insight for the many people who loved her.

Most of all, Angela will be remembered for her kindness. She was a great listener, always taking care to understand and offer her unique perspective, and gave so much of her time helping others. Her laughter was always genuine and full of soul, lighting up the air around her. She will remain with everyone that knew her, a reminder that life’s simplest pleasures are often its best, and that putting another person before yourself is the greatest act of grace.

She was the best friend, companion and life partner of Clint Houchens, and mother to her beloved dog, Zooey, sister of Michelle, Audra and Francisco, step-mother of Adam and Chelsea, Brian and Sarah, Amanda and Eric, and Sarah and Will, grandmother to her fur-babies Chewy, Hazel, Vinny, Chloe, Mia, Nimbus, Jack and Moxley, niece of Shari and Bert Sprecher, Jeff and Jacquie Heun and James and Liana Heun, and the daughter of Karla and Scott Heun. She is further survived by countless loving friends.

There will be a Celebration of Angela’s Life held at Max A. Sass & Sons-Greenridge Chapel (4747 S. 60th St., Greenfield, WI 53220) on Friday, June 2nd from 4-7 PM. Eulogies will follow at 7 PM. Please join us and share some of your cherished memories of Angela.
