Audrey Sophie Gallow

Gallow, Audrey Sophie (nee Klapkowski) Of Sun City, Arizona, was born to Eternal Life on April 29, 2014, at the age of 79. She was born to John and Sophie Klapkowski (nee Kopczynski) on July 10th, 1934, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1952, Audrey married her beloved husband and best friend Robert "Bob" in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They were happily married for 62 years. She had a knack for gardening. They opened a flower shop together on the east side of Milwaukee. Audrey later worked for AC Delco in Oak Creek. She lovingly and generously supported many animal shelters and rescue groups throughout the world. She and Robert were a vital part of all of their sibling's children, actively involved in their lives, passing on skills, providing family vacations, and preserving those memories for generations to come. They purchased and sold properties throughout their lives, including the well known 'farm house' in Franklin, Wisconsin. They loved to travel, visiting countries across the globe, before settling in Sun City, Arizona to retire. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents John and Sophie Klapkowski (nee Kopczynski), step father Wendly Wanta; sisters Carol Mueller (nee Klapkowski) and Bernice DeMarte (nee Klapkowski); nephews Chuck DeMarte and Gregory DeMarte. Audrey is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Robert, of Waterford, Wisconsin; her sisters Barbara Gallow of Waterford, Wisconsin, Marcella Wargolet of Sun City, Arizona, and Dianne Gudat of Eland, Wisconsin. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews, along with many other relatives and friends. The family will be greeting friends and relatives from 2-4pm, with a Memorial Service immediately following, on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home-Mission Hills Chapel.
