Carolyn was born in Milwaukee, WI to the late Henry and Phyllis (Nee Zarzecki) Paprocki on February 23, 1948 and passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband and children on January 15, 2024.


Devoted and beloved wife of 55 years to David. Loving mother to Julie and Christopher. Beloved grandma to Isaiah. She is survived by her dear sister Kristine Paprocki and brother Mark Paprocki. Further survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other family members.


A special acknowledgement to lifelong friends, Cathy and Judy.


She graduated from Pulaski High School where she was salutatorian of the January class of 1966. After graduation she went to work at Allen-Bradley where she met her husband. They were married in August 1968.


During their marriage, while raising her children and maintaining a home she held a variety of part time jobs until her children were grown. She eventually went to work full time for Milwaukee County where she retired as a Deputy Court Clerk.


Carolyn was a lifelong book lover and enjoyed going to bookstores. She also loved going to the Art Museum & Boerner Botanical Gardens.


Over the years she enjoyed spending days at their home on Washington Island, in Door County.


After she retired, she and David moved to Green Valley, Arizona, where she lived for six wonderful years before moving back home to be closer to family and friends.


The family would like to thank Gail, Steve, Kevin, Karen and the rest of the staff at AccentCare for the kind and compassionate care given to Carolyn during the final months of her life.


Visitation at the MAX A. SASS & SONS Mission Hills Chapel (8910 W. Drexel Ave. Franklin, WI) on Thursday February 8, 2024 from 5:30 PM until time of service at 7:30 PM. Private inurnment will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers, Carolyn requested that donations be made to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission.
