OAK CREEK - (nee Sobczak) Passed away peacefully on January 25th, 2021. Loving wife to Richard for 48 years. Loving Mother of Michelle Karczewski (Steve), Luann & Matthew (Melissa). Loving Grandmother to Jack, Nathan, Logan & Gabriel. Further survived by sibling in-laws Joyce (Sandy) and Dave Eberhardt. Chris, a proud graduate of Notre Dame High School, began her nursing career at Saint Mary’s Hospital Burn Center followed by several other nursing positions. Her career was cut short after suffering a hypoxic brain injury. Chris Volunteered her nursing skills and warmth of heart in providing home care and hospice services to friends & members of her parish, St. Matthews, Oak Creek. She was active in Home & School Assoc. and was instrumental in starting a yearly fundraising Spaghetti Dinner Event. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 2 from 4 - 7 PM. Funeral Service at 7 PM. Interment on Wednesday at St. Adalbert Cemetery at 10 AM (please meet at cemetery 6th Street entrance).
