Albrecht, Donald J. MD "Doc" Found peace on June 14, 2014 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Dolores. Preceded in death by his wife Dorothy. Loving Dad of Jeffery, the late Dale, Janet (Greg) Dietrich, Dean (Debby) and Joan (John) Schuetze. Cherished grandpa of 10 and great-grandpa of 12. Also survived by Dolores's children; Michael (Diane) Kostecki, the late Jeff Kostecki, Patty (Bill) Hartmann, Doug (Gail) Kostecki and Jane Kostecki, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Brother of the late Lee Albrecht. Other relatives, friends and fishing buddies. Don was a proud veteran serving in the US Army and Air Force, earned his Medical Degree from Marquette University, class of 1949, practiced OB/GYN for 30 years, served as President of St. Lukes Hospital and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree, 524 Council. Special thank you to Shorehaven Health Center for their compassionate care. Visitation on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3160 S. 63rd Street from 4pm until 5:45pm followed by the Funeral Mass at 6pm. Private interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
