Chovanec, Dorothy "Dottie" (nee Lisiak) of Greenfield. Found peace with the Lord on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Francis P. for 66 years. Loving mother of the late Mark ( Lynnette) Chovanec, Craig Chovanec (the late Kathy) (special friend Marsha Chikowski), Kirk (Jone) Chovanec and Lynn (Doug) Brown. Proud grandmother of Jennifer, Justin, Cory, Benjamin, Wendy, Melissa, Reid and Quinn. Further Survived by her sister Bernice Makowski, Sister-in-law Rosalie Kulp, 10 great grandchildren other relatives and friends. Visitation at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 9306 W. Beloit Rd, on Thursday, March 31 from 12 noon - 1:45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at 2 pm. Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Friday April 1, 10am. Please meet at the cemetery office. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the St Jude Children's Hospital or the American Heart Association appreciated. Dottie loved knitting and helping others by knitting hats for the homeless. She enjoyed playing the games Scrabble, Upwords, Cross word puzzles and reading.
