Edward J. Wdowicki

Wdowicki, Edward J. Died unexpectedly on April 20, 2013 at the age of 83 years. Born on November 1, 1929, on which date he was fond of reminding us that it was ALL SAINTS DAY. Dear son of the late Aleksander and Marie Wdowicki. Survived by his loving wife, Jane (Nee Gorlewski), of 59 years, and his children, William (Beverly) Wdowicki and Nancy. Further survived by siblings, Leonard (Mildred) and Mary Ann Gorski. Proud grandfather of Daniel, Robert, Evan, Madelyn and Rachel. Edward was a US Army veteran with service during the Korean War. He was an employee of United Parcel Service for 35 years, retiring in 1991 where he served as Vice President of Teamsters Local 344 and Secretary Treasurer of Local 200 and 344 Retirees club. Edward was also a Non Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer survivor. Edward enjoyed folk dancing, lumberjacking and laughs with friends and family. Visitation will be at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Thursday April 25, 2013 from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be at Forest Home Cemetery (2405 W. Forest Home Ave.) on Friday April 26, 2013 with a visitation at the Landmark Chapel from 10:30 AM until time of services at 11 AM. "He will be sadly missed" Max A.
