Eileen Curtin Beier

Beier, Eileen (Curtin) 1914 - 2015. Died peacefully at home. Beloved Mother of Martha (Wallon) Walusayi. Adoring grandmother of Justin and Nick Walusayi. Survived by loving nieces Mary Putchinski and Ann Ratkowski, nephews James, Kevin, Patrick and Mike Curtin and other members of the Curtin Clan. Preceded in death by sister Elizabeth and brothers Daniel and James Curtin. Eileen was a proud graduate of Marquette University and worked as a social worker for the American Red Cross for over thirty years. In retirement she was an enthusiastic member of the Greendale Historical Society, and the Friends of Boerner Gardens. Special thanks to wonderful neighbors the Koreks, best friend Val Reynolds, and all the members of the Boerner Babes who made her life so rewarding. Grace Hospice provided marvelous care in her last days. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Saturday, October 10 from 10 am to 11:30 am with a Funeral Service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Friends of Boerner Gardens or the Greendale Historical Society.
