Elwood E. Stolpe

Stolpe, Elwood E. Passed away Monday, August 4, 2014 at the age of 93. Preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mary (nee Beland). Cherished father of Sharon (Joseph) Troia, Robert (Jean) Stolpe, Jane (Greg) Rizzo and Ann (Jerry) Valley. Loving grandpa of Peter Troia, Maria (Ryan) Krieter, Paul (Katie) Rizzo, Sarah (Scott) Satula, Jessica (Mike) Stremer, David Muchow and Julie (Ross) Werner. Proud great-grandpa of Luc, Logan, Gabriel, Leo, Libby, Annabelle, Amelia and Ryder. Elwood proudly served as a Navy officer during WWII. After the war, he completed his degree in electrical engineering from Beloit College. He then had a career that spanned more than thirty years at Allen Bradley. He was a long time resident of Greenfield, WI and most recently resided at Elizabeth Residence in Franklin. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Elizabeth Residence for all the care and kindness extended to our dad. Visitation at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community, 9520 W.
