Georgine H. Paprocki

Found peace on January 21, 2023 at age 94. Georgine was a gentle soul with an always pleasant demeanor. We were all fortunate to have her for nearly a century. Her particularly keen wit and sense of humor will be missed. Saying that she had a sharp mind would be an understatement. Obscure trivia questions always needed to be answered. As a family we've lost our last remaining historian and link to the past. Always fiercely proud of her Polish heritage and thankful to her loving birth family. A depression era upbringing that was full of love and laughter. Born, raised and lived a good Catholic life. A valued, yet humble, employee of Rite Reality and the City of Milwaukee for years. A committed wife of 62 years and a wonderful mom/grandma/great grandma for 72 years. Bursting with pride about all who have sprung from her and from her extended family, she sincerely wanted to know precisely how each and every one of us were doing. Always hoping for the best. She was truly a key part of our family fabric. She attributed her long life to all things in moderation. A life well lived. Well done!

Preceded in death by her husband Daniel J. Paprocki, brother Leon Kopaczewski and sisters Sylvia Kopaczewski, Helen Bronikowski, Jean Dietsch, Esther Kopaczewski, and Alice Marefke. Survived by sons John (Kathy) Paprocki and Thomas (Mary) Paprocki. Grandmother of James (Lindy), Christopher (Amanda), Andrew (Miccah), Michael, Anthony (Whitney), Joel, and Mark (Michelle). Great grandmother of Mackinzie, Alexandra, Nathan, Mason, Selina, Lyanna, Lucinda, Kaiya, Layla, Brianne, and Emmie.

Visitation on --- at St. Veronica Church (353 E. Norwich Ave) from 9-10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Burial to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. Memorials appreciated to The Milwaukee Rescue Mission.
