Scheel, Gerald T. "Jerry" Born to Eternal Life on July 29, 2014 at the age of 84. Cherished husband of Mary (nee Bayer) for 56 years. Loving father of Mark (Mary Ann), Stephanie Sidow, Heather (Doug) Hinson, Keith (Cathy Unruh) and Matt (Krista). Proud Pops of Shannon, Madison, Kyle, Joshua, Nicholas, Lauren, Rachel, Nathaniel, Benjamin, Jeremiah and Hannah. Further survived by a brother, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation Saturday 10-11:45 am at Hales Corners Lutheran Church (12300 W. Janesville Road, Hales Corners) with a service at 12 noon. Private entombment Wisconsin Memorial Park. Jerry was a coach, educator and administrator at Greendale High School for 35 years. He was an accomplished athlete who was inducted into the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Hall of Fame and also served his country in the Air Force. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association of Southeastern Wisconsin or the Greendale Panthers Athletic Boosters Club.
