Joseph Stanley Macek

Macek, Joseph S. "Pep" Passed away peacefully January 14, 2017 at the age of 77. Beloved brother of Geraldine "Jarka" Axtell and Vera Frazier. Cherished companion of Bonita Ubl. Further survived by niece Ann (Dan) Austin, Nephew Jan (Vicki) Axtell, other relatives and friends. Pep was proud of his Czech heritage and spoke fluent Czech and Polish. He was a member of Czech Sokol for over 50 years, and won medals as an excellent gymnast. Pep was drafted into the army during the Vietnam War and was proud to serve his country. Visitation at Max A. Sass & Sons-Oklahoma Chapel on Friday January 20 starting at 9:30AM until time of service at 11:30AM. Entombment at Arlington Memorial Park to follow. Memorials in Pep's name are appreciated to the charity of your choice. "Your generous, kind heart will be missed by all who love you."
