Schwabe, Louis D. Entered Eternal Life unexpectedly on November 2, 2007, at the age of 77 years. Devoted husband and beloved best friend of Mary Schwabe (nee Lombardo) for 54 years. Cherished son of Jessie (nee Schaulis) and the late Louis Schwabe. Loving father of Debbie Hoffman, Paul (Becky) Schwabe, Doreen (Joe) Robak, Louise (Jim) Stepaniak, and Roxanne (Dan) Dougherty. Dear grandfather of Andrea (Chris), Justin (Michelle), Shannon, Matt, Katie, Michelle, Lucas, Donny, Danny, Valarie, Tiffany, Zachary, Morgan, Jennifer, and Dominic. Dear great grandfather of Dominic, Alyssa, and Isabella. Dear brother of Tom (Diane) Schwabe. Further survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, Tom Schmid and Dave Hoffmann, other relatives and friends. Proceeded in death by his father, Louis Schwabe, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Thomas and Rose Lombardo, and sisters-in-law, Katherine (Moldenhauer, and Christine Kritter. Louie was an avid bowler, golfer, craftsman, but most important, a devoted family man, taking great pride in his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, never missing their events. Funeral mass Wednesday 10 AM at ST. MATTHIAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 9306 W. Beloit Rd. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home with a 7 PM prayer service.
