Maria Klein

Klein, Maria (geb. Kolbe) Passed away peacefully on October 2, 2012 at age 79. She is lovingly survived by her husband of 56 years Robert Klein. Cherished mom of Desery (John) Gutwein, Rosita (Frank) Slembarski, Linda (Otto) Dschida, Veronica (John) Lietz and Annette (Kurt) Kruepke. Proud grandmother of Joseph (Amanda), Michael, Robert (Emily), Elisa (Jonathan), Richard (Rebecca), Richard (Kaylee), James, Andrew, Maria, Rachel and Matthew. Step grandmother of Christine (Daniel) and Steven (Laurie). Step great grandmother of Jayna. Dear sister of Josef Kolbe. Maria will be loved, remembered and missed by many relatives and friends. Maria was born in Germany in 1933 and immigrated to the United States in the 1950's. Robert and Maria settled on a farm in the Town of Vernon. She was an active member of St. Joseph Parish and School and volunteered in the Ladies Auxiliary for the BBVVFD & also secretary of the German American Schlesien Verein. Maria loved to entertain in her home and invited everyone to her table for food and Gemuetlichkeit. Her greatest enjoyment was being surrounded by her family especially at Christmas. Visitation at St. Joseph Church (S89 W22650 Milwaukee Ave Big Bend, WI) on Friday, October 5, 2012 from 10AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 12PM. Burial to follow at Rural Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to Angel's Grace Hospice or St. Joseph Church.
