Joined her beloved husband Ray Mundt on February 16, 2023 at the age of 87.
Loving mother of the late Debra Mundt, Susan (Eugene) Williams, Laurie (Niels) van Wieringen, Linda (Allan) Preske. Grandmother of Mark (Angelia) Mundt, Michael (Tari) Williams, Kellie (Joseph) Anderson, Karen (Tay Roy) Williams, Kimberly (Michael Hammond) Williams, Andrew (Jessica) Preske, Joseph Preske, Justin van Wieringen, William (Sara Uecker) Preske, Stephanie (Colin Mulroe) van Wieringen. Further loved and survived by many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews who treated her like their own mother, other family and friends.
Visitation at Max Sass Funeral Home, Oklahoma Avenue Chapel, on Thursday, February 23, 4 to 8 PM and Friday 10 to 10:30 AM with a funeral service at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow at Forest Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marlene's name may go to Aurora At Home Zilber Family Hospice.
Marlene was the cornerstone of our family, making sure we realized the importance of upholding family traditions. It is because of her that our family has remained so incredibly close. She will be missed as we gather for holidays, but we will continue our traditions in her memory.
