Marlene Joan Gorecki

Gorecki, Marlene J. (nee Hanson) Found peace on April 28, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 70 years. Beloved wife of John. Loving mother of Lynn (Rick) Steger, Jane (Jeff) Billstrom, William, Chris (Steve) Pokora, laura (Matthew Gebhardt), and Karen. Cherished grandma of Ian, Brianna, Erin, Nolan, Gavyn, Grady, Cal, Jack, Indica, and Cree. Dear sister of Bev (Tom), Cheryl (Gary), Chris (Jeff), Jim (Shannon), Joe (Ann), and the late Bill. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Marlene was a dedicated teacher for MPS for over 30 years. Funeral Mass Friday, 10 AM at ST. ALEXANDER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1554 W. Holt Ave. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4 PM to 7 PM at the Funeral Home with a 6 PM prayer service. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Cancer Society appreciated.
