Janusz, Melvin D. "Mel" Found peace on February 27, 2013 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Rosemary for 53 years. Loving dad of Dean (Angel), Dawn (Don) Zdrojewski, Terry and Stacy. Proud grandpa of Ashley (Elias) Chapa, Leandra and Jacob Zdrojewski and Brittany Janusz. Dear brother of Rosemary (Gerald) Kuras, Lenore (Edward) Zimmermann and Harry Jr. (Christine). Further survived by other loving relatives and friends. Visitation Saturday March 2, 2013 3-5 pm with a service at 5 pm at the Max A. Sass & Sons Mission Hills Chapel. Melvin lived a happy life which always revolved around his family. He struggled with disease the last few years of his life but died peacefully where he was taken into God's warm embrace. Melvin will be missed greatly by all those who knew and loved him. He was a member of the Million Miler Club for Consolidated Freigtways and proudly served his country in the Army. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all of the nurses at St. Luke's Southshore and Dr. Munoz and Marian for all of their compassionate care.
