God saw you getting tired A cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you. And whispered, "Come to me". With tearful eyes we watched you And saw you fade away. Although we loved you dearly We could not make you stay A golden heat stopped beating Your tender hands at rest. God took you home to prove to us He only takes the best. Michael S. Stelter found peace on Thursday, November 5th 2015 at the age of 51. He was born on May 23rd 1964, and grew up in Cudahy, Wisconsin. He graduated from Cudahy High School (1982) and became a foreman roofer. Throughout his life he changed occupations, but was always doing beautiful craftsmanship with his hands. His passions included biking, golfing, hunting and fishing and no matter the task or adventure he always gave everything he had. Michael's achievements in his lives journey were amounted by the lives and hearts he touched along the way. A tender soul, who from even a child was compassionate beyond his years. As he grew in age so did his heart. Even after his body weakened and his mind began to fail him, his heart made up for the lack. He wore his emotions on his sleeves and never apologized for that. To know Michael was to love Michael, and he made sure that everyone always knew how much he loved them back. Michael felt it was important that his loved ones knew how he felt and for that we are thankful. For as we grieve his untimely death and our minds fill with questions, the way he felt about every one of us will never be one of them. Michael was preceded in death by brother Jeffery Stelter. He is survived and forever loved by sons Daniel (Shayna) and Joe (Theresa). True love of Kathy Franecki. Former spouse of Denise. Proud parents Evelyn and Wayne. Brother Steven. Sister Dawn (Todd). Grandchildren Isabella, Austin, Shyanne and Brooke. Nieces Crystal (Justin), Noel (Noah) and Skylar. And nephew Killian. The family of Micheal S. Stelter wishes to thank everyone who came into Michael's life, and hope that his memory may live on in all of you. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 11th from 5-7:30PM followed by a Service at 7:30PM. In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate monetary donations.
