After 37 years, it is almost hard for Roger and family to remember life before Parkinson disease. Nancy was in her late 30's when she was first diagnosed with the condition. Though the disease was a part of the majority of their life together, it did not stop them from doing the things they enjoyed. They had a marriage filled with children, travel and adventure. Having Parkinson's never stopped Nancy from being a hands-on mother to her nine children. Nancy was the first recipient of the Tulip Award, awarded by the Wisconsin Parkinson Association, to those who have made a valuable contribution to Parkinson disease in our community.
