Passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Betty (nee Borucki) for 60 years. Beloved father of Lori (Scott) Mower, Colin (Laura) Kattner and Kari (Ben) Brunette. Proud grandpa of Ryan, Jamie, Ellen, Megan, Sam, Logan and Mason. Brother of Ruth (Joe) Franz. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his mother and father, Odelia and Leo Kattner, brother LeRoy (Gloria) Kattner and niece Maureen Kattner.

Paul graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, WI. He then attended Oshkosh State University and later received his Masters Degree in Outdoor Education from National Louis University in IL. He taught for the St. Francis School System for 36 years. He was a member of Wisconsin Education Association and National Education Association.

Paul had a passion for fishing, politics, and sports. Above all, Paul's greatest love was his wife Betty, children, grandchildren, and friends. He gave the warmest hugs and could change your mood with his signature smile. He had a big heart, and he always wanted the best for everyone. We miss him.

Visitation at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3100 S. 41st St., Milwaukee, on Friday, July 19 from 10 AM – 12 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the National Kidney Foundation.
