Mecha, Richard J. Age 92, September 20, 2014. Richard was the father of 3 sons. Beloved brother of Raymond (Stell) Mecha, the late Albert (Mary Ann) Mecha, the late Gilbert (the late Shirley) Mecha and the late Irene (the late Frank) Tatera. Loving uncle of Denise Mecha, Joan (Darrel) Pagel, Gregory (Laura) Mecha, Pat (Marv) Mecha-Meye, Joe (Lisa) Mecha, Sandra (Peter) Paskiewicz, the late Gerard Mecha, Eileen (John) Tabor, Michael Mecha, James (Jane) Tatera, Tom (Tammy) Tatera, David Tatera, Peter (Paula) Tatera and Lori (Rich) VanHorn. Further survived by great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Richard was a WWII Navy veteran and a long time machinist. Visitation on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3222 So. 29th Street, from 10am until 1045am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11am.
