Skender Ismaili

After a long battle with cancer, Skender A. Ismaili passed away on July 3rd, 2016 at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife Remzije, his sons Agron (Nesrine) and Albion (Shpresa) Ismaili and his daughter Ardiana (Kreshnik) Rushiti, his 6 grandchildren, his sister Dilfo and his nephews and nieces. He was proceeded in death by his parents Amet and Manushaqe Ismaili and his two brothers Rexhep and Ajdar Ismaili. He was born in Prespa, Macedonia. He moved to Prishtina, Kosovo in his 20's where he worked as a lecturer, journalist, editor and chief at the Correspondents Network for the daily newspaper "Rilindja". In 1993, Skender and his family moved to Madison, Wisconsin, where he retired. Funeral arrangements have been made at Max A. Sass & Sons at 1314 Manitoba Avenue in South Milwaukee, WI 53172 for Wednesday July 6, 2016. Visitation and services are from 10 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Oak Creek, WI 53154.
