Stella C Mecha

Mecha Stella C. Died on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the age of 91. Born in Milwaukee on March 5, 1925. Cherished wife of Raymond Mecha for 68 years. Loving mother of Denise Mecha and Joan (Darrel) Pagel. Proud grandmother of Alexandra Pagel. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Martha Zuzelski, her sister Virginia Zuzelski and brothers Leonard, Andrew and Jerry Zuzelski. Visitation at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 3222 S. 29th St. Saturday, April 2, 9:30 - 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. (Please park in the church parking lot). Burial to follow at St Adalbert Cemetery. Stella was born in Milwaukee, WI but was raised in Thorp, WI. She came back to Milwaukee at the age of 16 and was a nanny and housekeeper. During the war she worked at Perfex Corporation then at Allen Bradley and Deltrol Controls. She was a member of the American legion Auxiliary post 0427. Stella enjoyed music and singing in the choir at Our Lady Queen of peace Parish and being part of the "Willsonaires". She was a good polka dancer and a baker.
