Suzanne M Bourdo, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, in Neosho, Wisconsin. Born on September 24, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Suzanne lived a full life of 87 years. Suzanne was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Jim Bourdo, her son, Paul Bourdo, and her siblings, Serena Rohleder, Edward Hoffer, and Ross Hoffer. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her surviving sons, Eric (Kim) and Andy (Kelly), her granddaughters, Sherri (Jason), Danni (Kory), Lindsay, Amanda (Nikki), and Sanna, and her great-grandsons, Walker and Marshall. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
Her spiritual life was deeply rooted in her community as a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran, Big Bend. Suzanne found joy and fellowship in her active participation in a homemaker's group. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and card games, which were often accompanied by laughter and friendly competition with family and friends. Yet, perhaps the most endearing of her pastimes were the teaparties she hosted for her granddaughters. She left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she loved and will be deeply missed. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived.
