Ross, William Herbert, Greendale, Wisconsin, passed away with his entire family at his side following a courageous struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Bill was born on November 23rd, 1937, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Bill was known for being a caring, sensitive and loving man who married Janet Johnson on December 7th, 1957. He was a civilian employee of the 440th Airlift Wing and a member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve for 28 years and retired as a Supervisor, Life Support Services. He served many years as a long standing member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church on the Building and Grounds Committee and as an usher. As a dedicated family man who loved to travel the world with his wife and close friends, he will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Mabel Ross, and two brothers George and Culbert Ross. He is survived by his wife Janet and children Steven (Julie), Michael (Tami), Robert (Jean), Jeff (Linda), and Patti, plus grandchildren Steve, Anna, Nick, Tony, Bobby (Tiffany), Joe, Josh (Nicole), Jake, Nick, Derek, Jessica, and Samantha and great grandchildren Josh. Jace and Kylie. He is also survived by a brother, Cleon (Pauline) Ross, sister in law, Carol Paasch and nieces and nephews. Visitation and Service with lunch to follow will be held on Saturday, March 15th at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 3022 W. Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association or Our Savior's Lutheran Church appreciated.
