Yvonnie Jean Pitt

Pitt, Yvonnie J. Found peace after a courageous battle on January 29, 2016 at age 87. Lovingly survived by Leatrice Ann Mascari. Beloved sister of Bud Pitt and Jon (Mary) Pitt. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. Vonnie will be dearly missed by Sharon (Daniel) Bieszk, Lynn (Daniel) Anderson, Jean (Francis) Mayhew and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Donald.. Vonnie proudly served in the United States Army for 35 years. She was a highly decorated Veteran, being the first woman to receive the Legion of Merit award for her distinguished service. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 10 AM until 12 PM. Burial will be private for family at Good Hope Cemetery.
