Albert Fred Knaak, a devoted husband, father, and craftsman, passed away unexpectedly at home in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, on September 4, 2025. Born on June 22, 1951, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Albert and Edna Knaak.
He proudly served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to his country. After his military service, Albert pursued various interests that reflected his vibrant spirit. He had a keen interest in keeping up with politics and was an avid craftsman and woodworker, often expressing his creativity through his hands and sharing his passion with those around him.
Albert is lovingly survived by his wife, Jane Lynn Knaak, who stood by his side as a partner and friend throughout their years together. He was a beloved father to his late son, Bradley Kendall Knaak, and to Richard Ryan Knaak and Ryan Richard Knaak. Albert took great pride in his role as a grandpa, cherishing moments spent with his grandchildren: Chloe Eve Knaak, Ethan Ryan Knaak, Jacob Christian Knaak, and Sarah Jessica Knaak.
He is further survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends who were fortunate to know him. Albert's legacy will live on through the memories and stories shared by those whose lives he touched. His commitment to family, friendship, and craftsmanship will be fondly remembered, and he will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
The family will be honoring Albert's wishes and no formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Tunnel to Towers Foundation appreciated.
