Andrew Martin Doughty SR. July 16th, 1950-September 12th, 2014 Andrew M. Doughty Sr., 64, of Milwaukee, passed away suddenly Friday, September 12, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital at 5:20PM after a long battle of declining health with family by his side. Andy is survived by his wife of 33 years Donna (Pallen), his sons "AJ" Andrew Jr. (Teri), Shane (Ally) and Nick, stepdaughter Deanna Vassar, 2 grandchildren Cody and Arianna, companion Blackie, mother Mabel (Andrews), and 7 brothers and 3 sisters. He also leaves behind numerous relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his father Douglas Doughty Sr. and sister Carol. Andrew was born on July 16th, 1950 in Durand, WI. He was the life of the part in his hay-day and a very caring/giving man. He would literally give you the shirt off his back and buy you a beer. He excelled in concrete and construction work. Though never graduated from college with a full degree he went to several great Wisconsin colleges including UW Madison, MSOE and UW Stout to name a few, in the field of architecture. He built and repaired several great buildings and properties throughout the great state of Wisconsin. On this day the world lost and heaven gained an incredible man, husband, father and a Milwaukee icon. A very special thanks to everyone at St. Luke's hospital who has helped, repaired, and cared for him over the years. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service to be held at "Our Lady of Lourdes" on 3722 South 58th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53220 on Saturday, September 27th, 2014. Visitation is from 11am to 12pm with Mass to follow at 12pm. Contributions or Donations may be made directly to the Family Funeral services being provided by Max A. Sass & Sons.
