Anissa "Nissa" Jimenez

Anissa "Nissa" Jimenez, age 8, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on August 15, 2026, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born on December 31, 2017, in Milwaukee, Nissa filled every room she entered with her sassy, spunky spirit and a personality that was impossible to forget.

Nissa was a bright light in every sense of the word. She had just completed the second grade at the top of her class, proving she was every bit as smart as she was creative. She had also recently discovered a love for dance, and you could find her playing outside every single day, soaking up life with everything she had. Nissa was an artist at heart who loved doing arts and crafts, singing songs, and collecting everything Hello Kitty. One of her greatest joys was putting together mini verses with her sister, Anayah. She had her own sense of style and always knew exactly what she wanted, a quality that made her wise beyond her years.

Nissa is survived by her Mother Nadia Jimenez ; her Father , Derek Davis; her Step father , Chris Jones; her brother, August Davis; her sister, Anayah Jimenez; her grandfathers, Rafael Jimenez and Ronald Diaz; her grandmothers, Mia Diaz and Erica Truss ;her uncles, Rafael Jimenez Jr., Israel Diaz, and Elias Diaz; and her aunt, Gabriella Diaz who held a special place in her life. She is also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

Though her time here was far too short, her family finds comfort in knowing that Nissa rests peacefully in God's care.

A public visitation and memorial will be held on Friday, September 4th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel, 4747 S. 60th St., Greenfield, Wisconsin.

As Nissa would remind us, "Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten."
