Arlene C. Paetsch, born July 1, 1934, left this world peacefully on July 25, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, quiet strength, and enduring love. To know Arlene was to encounter a spirit defined by compassion, subtle humor, and unwavering devotion to family, friends, and those who had the good fortune of sharing her journey.

She was the loving mother of Christine (Keith) Disher and Michael (Eileen Owens) Paetsch. She was the proud Grandma of Nicole (Robbie) Weyrough, Amy Paetsch, and Amanda Paetsch; Great Grandma to Rohan, Evan, Isaac, Ryett, Connor, Landon, and Scarlet. Dearest sister of Shirley (Paul) Raszeja, and Linda (the late Dennis) Daniels. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, John and Pearl Blaszczyk; her siblings, Jerry, Ervin, Kenneth "Kenny," Melvin, Laverne "Dolly," Virginia "Virgie," and Patricia "Patsy"; and mother-in-law Esther Brien, all of whom she loved dearly. She is further survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, and friends.

She found in Glen, her devoted husband for 47 years, a partner whose companionship was the foundation upon which so many happy times were built. Their marriage was a testament to loyalty and commitment—enduring through challenges and triumphs, perpetually illuminated by mutual respect and affection. Together, Arlene and Glen became a living portrait of steadfast love, further enriched by family, traditions, and community.

Arlene dedicated 26 years of service to Patterson's Apple Orchard, where she was known for her hard work and friendly spirit. She was a devoted Milwaukee Brewers fan and rarely missed the opportunity to cheer on her favorite team. Arlene also loved bringing family and friends together for games, creating countless memories filled with laughter, friendly competition, and togetherness. She treasured the time she spent with those she loved most.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the compassionate staff at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice for the exceptional care, kindness, and support they provided to Arlene and her loved ones during this difficult time. Your comfort and dedication will always be deeply appreciated.

The community will gather to celebrate and honor Arlene’s life on August 7, 2026. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation Greenridge Chapel, 4747 S. 60th Street, Greenfield, WI. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Arlene will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park immediately following the service, 14875 West Greenfield Avenue, New Berlin, WI.
