Arthur C. Nunemaker Jr.

Nunemaker, Arthur C. Jr. Born November 8, 1927 and passed away January 19, 2013 at the age of 85. Loving fiance of Norma Young. Proud loving father of Debra (Joseph) Nelson and Donald (Diana) Nunemaker. Grandfather of Katie, Nicole, Gizelle, Jeffrey and six great-grandchildren. Further survived by his loving sister Beverly Tourangeau and other relatives and friends. Arthur was preceded in death by his wife Esther. Art was a WWII Navy Pharmacist Mate, a Boy Scout and Explorer Scout leader and was a firefighter for the Milwaukee Fire Dept for 14 years. After leaving the Fire Dept. he started and operated Art Nunemaker Asphalt Paving, Inc. for 27 years. Art was a member of the Milwaukee Fireball Club for 44 years and a charter member of the Milwaukee Fire Historical Society. Visitation will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park Chapel of the Chimes (13235 W. Capitol Dr. Brookfield, WI) on Thursday January 24, 2013 from 4 PM until time of services at 7 PM with Military Honors to follow. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, Art would have appreciated memorials to the Milwaukee Fire Bell Club or the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight. Max A.
