Audrey M. Rydlewicz

Audrey M. Rydlewicz (nee Popper), long-time resident of Milwaukee and Greenfield and as of late, of Hartland, age 88, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026. Audrey was preceded in death by her beloved and spirited husband of 52 years, Roger.

Born on September 23, 1937, in Milwaukee, WI, to Sophie and Jesse Popper, Audrey had a cheerful and sweet nature. She enjoyed spending time up north with her family, where she created treasured memories that her loved ones will hold dear. Known as the number one fan of all her grandchildren, she delighted in their achievements and shared in their joy with unmatched enthusiasm.

Audrey loved playing cards, crafting, and socializing with her dear friends at Heritage Senior Living - Lake Country. Her infectious smile and positive outlook were constants that brightened the days of those around her.

She leaves behind a loving family who will deeply feel her loss: her children Kelly (Jim) Barthel and Shannon (Marc) Strobusch, and her devoted grandchildren Matt (Stephanie), Libby, and Andrew Barthel, and Julia, Sophia, and Ryan Strobusch. Audrey was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and a large extended circle of family and friends.

A celebration of Audrey's life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Audrey's name may be made to American Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
