Miklaszewski, Bernard A. "Ben" Of South Milwaukee. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 4, 2010, at the age of 87. A Navy veteran of WWII, Ben narrowly escaped a Kamikaze attack on the USS Bunker Hill. Ben worked at Ladish Co. for nearly 40 years as a Machine Shop Foreman. Loving father of Judy (John) Warren and James (Cheryl) Miklaszewski. Grandfather of 5 grandchildren and 6 great - grandchildren. Cherished brother of Charlotte (the late Coleman) Varga, Henry (Ruth), Theresa (Hilary) Chybowski, Christine Mikels, Evelyn Mikels and Marlene (Richard) Griffith. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends. Ben was preceded in death by his parents Adam and Mary, his wife Helen E. (nee Corwin), his siblings Rev. Albin Miklaszewski, John (Theresa), Antoinette (John) Blockowicz and Sr. Helen. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Thursday, September 9, 2010, 10-11:30 AM. Funeral Service 11:30 AM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
