Betty J. Wing (nee Peterson) entered Eternal Life on April 10, 2026, at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard “Dick” Wing; her son, Kenneth Wing; her parents, Herbert and Ruth Peterson; and her sisters, Vivian Hamann and Donna Peterson.

Betty is survived by her devoted son, Keith (Julie) Wing. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren: Jeremy (Chelsea) Wing, Brandon (Kristine) Wing, and Melissa Wing. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Riley, Grayson, and Jameson. Betty is also survived by her dear sister, Linda Peterson. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Betty’s faith played a central role in her life, and she was deeply involved with her church, Adoration Evangelical Lutheran. She dedicated many years to Ebenezer Child Care, where she served as the account manager before retiring.

Betty enjoyed bowling with her sisters and friends.  She also enjoyed crafting of all types.

A memorial gathering will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons-Mission Hills Chapel, located at 8910 W. Drexel Ave., Franklin, on Wednesday, May 13. The gathering will begin at 12PM, followed by the Memorial Service at 1PM. Private burial at Highland Memorial Park.
