Carla Joan Grob, a cherished member of her community known for her funny and sassy spirit, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Born on December 1, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Carla’s love of life was evident in her hobbies and interests. An avid player of bingo and slots, she found joy and excitement in these pastimes.Her passion for arts and crafts was another beautiful expression of her caring nature; she delighted in creating thoughtful gifts for her loved ones, leaving behind treasured keepsakes that will continue to remind her family and friends of her kindness and creativity.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Leon (Margaret) Grob, Virgina Grob, and Peggy (Tom) Hayden, who carry forward her legacy of strength and affection. Carla was a beloved grandmother to Scott Grob, Erin (Jeff) Peters, Ann Marie (Tyler) Oldenburg, Viranda Pfannenstiel, Joshua Hayden, Grace Grob, Thomas (Toni) Hayden, and Benjamin (Zoe) Hayden. Her family was further blessed by her role as great-grandmother to Landon, Carter, Theodore, James, Jesse, Adaline, and Colton.
Carla was a dear sister to Ronald (the late Rhoda) Gross and Kristine (Robert) Shaeffer, sharing bonds that enriched her journey through life. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Randolph and Ruth (nee Prowatzke) Gross, her son Scott Grob, her grandson Jimmy Grob, sister-in-law Rhoda, as well as many aunts and uncles.
The family warmly invites all who knew Carla to honor her memory with a memorial service scheduled for April 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to gather. at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation Service Westwood Chapel, located at W173 S7629 Westwood Drive, Muskego, WI 53150 from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM. Burial will take place at Sunnyside Cemetery, 19011 W Main St, Lannon, WI 53046 at 12:30 PM, where family and friends will bid their final farewell. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
