Charles "Chuck" Anthony Kloss of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of family and friends while receiving exceptional care from the staff at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice.

Chuck proudly served his country in the United States Army for 21 years before retiring from military service. His dedication, integrity, and commitment to others were evident throughout his military career and remained hallmarks of his character throughout his life.

Beyond his service to his nation, Chuck was known for his passion for classic automobiles and Corvettes. He could often be found alongside friends at local car shows, proudly sharing his love of automotives with fellow enthusiasts. A talented craftsman with remarkable patience and attention to detail, Chuck spent countless hours in his garage painstakingly restoring the bodies of classic cars. His handiwork transformed treasured vehicles and reflected the pride he took in every project he undertook.

Chuck's greatest joy, however, was the time he spent with those he loved. He will be remembered for his strength, kindness, sense of humor, and devotion to family and friends.

He is survived by his two daughters, a granddaughter, his younger sister, and a large bonus family whose lives were enriched by his love, guidance, and generous spirit. He also leaves behind many cherished friends, neighbors and fellow veterans. A special thank you to the Waite, Huerta and Ruf families for their unwavering support.

Though he is gone from our sight, Chuck's legacy of service, perseverance, craftsmanship, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A memorial graveside service will be held at Good Hope Cemetery, 4141 S. 43rd Street Greenfield WI 53220 on November 9th, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.   After the services, please join family and friends at the Historic Hose Tower in Greendale for a time of remembrance, fellowship, and sharing memories until 3:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wisconsin Veteran's Network https://wisvetsnet.org/ or Saint Alphonsus Parish.

Chuck's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice for the comfort, dignity, and support they provided during his final days.
