Charlotte Frances Lisowski Nee Miller, July 17, 1934 – March 10, 2026

Charlotte Frances Lisowski, 91, of Cudahy, Wisconsin, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born in Milwaukee to Earl and Katherine Miller Nee Metz, Charlotte was raised in the Bay View community and graduated from Bay View High School.

In February 1952, she married Joseph E. Lisowski at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. They shared 49 years of marriage until Joseph’s passing in 2001. Together, they raised four children: Linda (Mark) Szocik, Michael (Donna) Lisowski, Kelly (Brian) Misko, and Kris (Javier) Ferreira.

Charlotte was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great‑grandmother. She will be remembered and missed for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering dedication to her family. Her home was a gathering place, especially during the holidays, where no one ever left hungry. Known for her year‑round Christmas tree decorated for each season, she brought joy and comfort to all who visited.

She was affectionately known by many names—Charlotte, Char, Lolly, Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Grandma Jojo, Peaches, and Gigi—each reflecting the love she inspired.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph; sisters Shirley Lanaghan and Josephine Consigny; and brothers Earl, Hank, and Robert, and Donald Miller.

She is survived by her children; her grandchildren—Tracy (Luke) Wisher, Kyle (Sierra) Szocik, Jennifer (Dominic) Lisowski‑Laessig, Matt Lisowski, Tabatha Misko, Abby (Ryan) Inawat, Johnny (Candice) Ferreira, the late Marco Ferreira, Alysia Ferreira (David Wege), and Vincent Ferreira (Jennifer Jeffers); and her great‑grandchildren—Mirabella and Juniper Wisher, Brendan (Chloe Alcaraz), McKayla, Jackson, and Grant Laessig, Hailey, Lexi, and Carter Lawrence, Sebastian and Cecilia Inawat, Aleyah and Eva Ferreira, Malia and Amora Wege, and Major and Autumn Ferreira, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Charlotte’s parting words to family were always the same: “Love you much.” Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on in all who knew her.
