Cindy was the anchor that kept her family close.
With heavy hearts and deep affection, we remember the remarkable life of Cindy (Cynthia) Trudeau (née Wicinski), who passed away in Milwaukee on July 13, 2026, following a short but brave battle with cancer. Born on November 11, 1958, in Milwaukee, Cindy lived her life with a warmth and strength that touched all who knew her.
Cindy’s journey through life was as genuine as her smile. Known to many simply as Cindy, she brought joy, support, and steadfast love to her family, friends, and anyone who needed love.
She is survived by her devoted husband and soulmate, Frank Trudeau, whose partnership was a source of steady comfort and companionship. Her beloved daughter, Kelly Lopez, was the pride of Cindy’s life, and their bond was marked by laughter, deep conversations, and unconditional support. She lovingly embraced her expanded family, including step-daughter Tracy Hanson and step-son Fran Trudeau, whom she cared for as her own. Her joy also extended to her son-in-laws, Rico Serra, and Jeremy Hanson, who became family through shared stories, celebrations, and life’s ups and downs. Her nephew Michael Wicinski and daughter-in-law Christie Mayer also survive her, each holding a special place in Cindy’s generous heart.
Cindy’s brother, Ken Wicinski and his wife Karen, mourn the loss of a sister who was both a confidante and friend—a cherished relationship shaped by memories and love.
She celebrated her loved ones’ milestones and stood beside them in hardship, always ready to lend a listening ear or a caring hand.
As she enters into rest, Cindy is reunited with her cherished parents, Diane and Carl Wicinski, whose guidance and love shaped her compassionate outlook on life. Remembered, too, is her first husband, Ricky Lopez, with whom she shared a daugher and significant chapters of her life.
Throughout her life, Cindy was the anchor that kept her family close. She celebrated her loved ones’ milestones and stood beside them in hardship, always ready to lend a listening ear or a caring hand. Her resilience in the face of adversity, especially during her recent illness, continues to inspire all who witnessed her courage.
To honor Cindy’s profound legacy, family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Gathering at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation South Shore Chapel, located at 1314 Manitoba Ave, South Milwaukee, WI 53172, on August 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at the same location at 1:00 p.m. Together, loved ones will celebrate the life of a woman whose kindness, love, and generosity radiated far beyond her years.
Cindy (Cynthia) D. Trudeau’s spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She leaves behind not just memories, but a legacy of warmth, compassion, and unwavering love—a gentle touch on the lives she graced.
