Cindy L. Denny, age 55, of West Allis, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026. She was born on January 24, 1971, to Anthony Cameron and Marvel Denny. Cindy held a Bachelor’s degree in Community Leadership and Development from Alverno College. She had a genuine passion for people and for making a difference in her community. She was especially passionate about the Native community and cared deeply about preserving and honoring their lives, culture, and traditions.
Cindy will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and her delightfully silly spirit. She had a way of bringing laughter into even the simplest moments. Cindy loved movies and had a lifelong affection for all things Jim Henson, especially the Muppets. She grew up with Jim Henson’s beloved creations and carried that love throughout her life. Cindy had a particularly loving spirit, and children were naturally drawn to her. Her kindness, playfulness, and ability to make others feel comfortable were gifts.
In her quieter moments, Cindy found joy in crocheting, creating with her hands and sharing the warmth and creativity that came so naturally to her. Above all, she treasured the people she loved and the connections she made throughout her life.
Cindy will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Sasheene Denny and Shanna Williams; her mother, Marvel Denny; her siblings, Sherry Denny-Kreischer and Brian Cameron; and by numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Cameron, and her brother, Daniel Denny.
In accordance with Cindy’s wishes, no services will be held.
