In Loving Memory of Claudia Ann Prado
May 6, 1957 – October 30, 2026
The world lost a remarkable soul on October 30, 2026, when Claudia Ann Prado passed away at her home in Greendale, Wisconsin.
At 21 years of age, Claudia married Steven at a courthouse in Anchorage, Alaska, with only two witnesses present. Thus began a life together filled with love, family, and adventure.
Claudia was a little bit wild, wonderfully smart, undeniably funny, and forever a flower child at heart. A free spirit with a curious mind, she was a world traveler, crossing hemispheres in her adventures and embracing the beauty and cultures of the world. She had a particular appreciation for Impressionist art and the beauty found in life's many places and experiences.
A woman of determination and perseverance, Claudia returned to Alverno College while raising two young children and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a Registered Nurse, she exemplified the highest standards of professionalism and compassion, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues.
Her greatest calling was always family. Claudia was caring, forgiving, and fiercely devoted to those she loved. Her love was unwavering. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished Nana.
Claudia is survived by her husband, Steven Prado; her siblings, Collette, Michelle, Michael, and Craig; her son, Elliott Prado; and her treasured grandchildren, Ezra Steven Prado and Amelia Jean Prado. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Prado, whose memory was forever close to her heart.
Claudia's life was measured not simply in years, but in lives touched, miles traveled, challenges overcome, laughter shared, and love given. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, compassion, independence, and a spirit that could never quite be contained.
The world has lost one of its finest.
A wild spirit, a beautiful soul, and a flower child forever. Claudia will be loved and never forgotten. ❤️
