Clement L. “Clem” Magner, age 85, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on June 12, 2026. Born on April 18, 1941, in Decorah, Iowa, to Paul and Marie Magner. He grew up in Calmar Iowa, Graduated from Loras College, and later earned his doctorate in education. Clem devoted his life to learning, teaching, and lifting others.
Clem spent his career as a dedicated school psychologist with Milwaukee Public Schools, where he supported countless students with compassion, patience, and unwavering belief in their potential. He also shared his knowledge as an instructor at Milwaukee Area Technical College, finding deep purpose in helping young adults grow, discover their strengths, and build their futures. His work was not just a job—it was a calling that brought him joy and meaning throughout his life.
Outside of the classroom, Clem enjoyed the simple pleasures that made each day richer. He loved watching sports, staying engaged with current events and relaxing with a good movie. Photography was one of his favorite hobbies, and he often found beauty in everyday moments through the lens of his camera.
Clem is survived by his sons, Mike Magner and Dave Magner; his brother Tom Magner (Peg); his sisters Marylou (Steve) and Shirley (Ken); and his sister‑in‑law Cheryl (Bob). He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Marie Magner, and his brother Robert “Bob” Magner and brother-in-law Ken. He is also lovingly remembered by his chosen daughters, Porchia and Rayhanna, who brought joy and companionship into his later years.
Clem will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his commitment to education, and the steady kindness he offered to everyone fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on in the students he guided, the colleagues he inspired, and the family and friends who will carry his memory forward.
