Constance (Kempka) Glysch
On Wednesday March 18, 2026 at the age of 90 “Connie” passed peacefully into the awaiting and loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Constance McGlin was the oldest of 7 children born in Manitowoc, WI. She graduated from Lincoln High School. She worked at Fukas Drug Store while in school. Later she was employed at Mirro Aluminum. After marrying Ronald Kempka she left Manitowoc for West Allis where she began to raise her family.
Preceded in death by:
Parents -Sherman “David” McGlin and Francis (Budysz) McGlin
Siblings - Pat McGlin, Donna Rice, Marcia McGlin
Husband Ronald Ernest Kempka who passed away on June 24th,1973.
On September 6, 1977 she married Alvin Joseph Glysch who passed away on June 16th, 2011.

3 Siblings -Dorothy Krauss, Nancy (Wayne) Krause and Jeanie (Dave) Kaiser
Loving Mother to her Devoted Children - Donald (Cynthia) Kempka, Richard (Ann) Kempka, Brenda (Robert) Slowinski, Raymond Kempka and JoDee (Ed) Koeppel-McCoy
Dear Step Mother to Julie Clemons (David Lohr), Randy Glysch (Bill Kunzelmann), Christine (Ricky) LaCrosse, Sandy (Dave) Abts, Terry Glysch and Tracy (Wayne) Anderson
Proud Grandmother of 17 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren & 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Also loved by countless other relatives and friends.
For many years Connie loved caring for her many Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren and countless other children throughout the years as a main source of employment. She found great joy and purpose in that!
Prior to living at St. Camillus Memory Care, Wauwatosa she resided in her New Berlin home for 60 years. Connie enjoyed Summer days, gardening, Reading inspirational quotes and long visits with good conversation. She looked forward to car rides, Family parties / Birthday celebrations and Holiday gatherings. Connie was often seen in her breezeway waving and talking to neighbors. While outdoors she spent time feeding birds, looking for Deer at dusk and watching various wildlife. Connie’s kind nature, positivity and unconditional love & support will be remembered ALWAYS.
Her Mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 16000 W. National Ave., New Berlin, on Wednesday, April 22. Visitation at 10:00 with her Mass at 11:30. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
