Cynthia J. Wyngaard (“Cindy”)

Passed away on Sunday February 22, 2026 at the age of 79 years. She was born on October 12, 1946 to Roy and Phyllis (Zornow) Nelson. Cindy graduated from Little Chute High School in 1965. On September 17, 1966 she married Dennis P. Wyngaard at St. John’s Catholic Church, Little Chute. Cindy enjoyed crocheting, gardening and loved playing cribbage with her friends and family. She was a full-time mother but when her kids got older, she worked part-time at Reynebeau Clothing in Little Chute. She cherished the friends she made while working there.

Cindy is survived by her two daughters, Nicole (Sequoya) Borgman, Milwaukee; and Lindsay Wyngaard (Tanner Hannula), Little Chute; and her grandchildren Aiden and Avery Borgman. Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Wyngaard; her parents, Roy and Phyllis Nelson; her sister, Charlotte Nelson; in-laws Geraldine and Dan Romenesko, Tom and Phyllis Vandenberg.

Following a private cremation, we will host a celebration of life to share memories of Cindy. Please join us starting at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday March 14, 2026 (dinner to follow) at Hollander’s Pub and Grill (1820 E. Main St. Little Chute). In lieu flowers, please send donations to the Wisconsin Chapter of Alzheimer’s Association.
