Dale George Regenfuss, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on August 13, 1938, Dale's life was marked by his dedication to his family, his work, and his passions.
Dale is lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Diane, who was his steadfast companion through the journey of life. Together, they raised a beautiful family, including their children David (and wife Christine), Deanna, Dina, and Darryl. He was a proud grandfather to Harrison, Jared (and wife Amanda), Lee (and husband David), and Amanda, and a doting great-grandfather to Preston, Evelyn, Trinity, Kynlee, and Lennon, as well as ahis good friends Thomas and Eric. Preceding him in death were his parents, Herman and Bernice (Hibbard) Regenfuss, and his brothers, Donald and Duane, who welcomed him to eternal rest.
For 40 years, Dale served as a truck driver, dedicating his career to ensuring the safe delivery of goods and services across the state. His commitment was further exemplified through his active membership in the Teamster Union Local 200. Dale's organizational skills shone brightly as he served as the secretary for the Teamster bowling league, where he also enjoyed the camaraderie and competition.
Beyond his professional life, Dale was an avid sports fan, finding joy in the thrills and triumphs of the games he loved. His appreciation for nature was evident, often taking time to immerse himself in the beauty of the outdoors. Bowling, softball, and golf were not just hobbies for Dale; they were extensions of his social and competitive spirit, allowing him to forge lasting friendships and create cherished memories.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026, at MAX A. SASS GREENRIDGE CHAPEL (4747 S 60th St., Greenfield) from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Burial will take place in Arlington Park Cemetery, Greenfield. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
