In Loving Memory of Dale Frederick Wuhrmann
Dale Frederick Wuhrmann, a man whose quick wit, generous heart, and deep faith in God guided every step of his life, passed away surrounded by the family he cherished. To know Dale was to be welcomed by his humor, steadied by his kindness, and uplifted by the unmistakable warmth he carried into every room and every relationship.
Dale is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Lila (née Heinritz), with whom he built a life rich in love, laughter, and unwavering faith. Together, they raised three children who adored him beyond measure: Lisa (Derek) Weigel, Blake (Cheryl) Wuhrmann, and Shelley (Christopher) Bloedel. Dale was the proud and playful grandfather of Joshua Weigel, Amanda Wuhrmann, Joseph (Ari) Wuhrmann, Savannah Bloedel, and Bennett Bloedel, and the delighted great-grandfather of three.
He is further survived by his beloved sister, Patricia (Wuhrmann) Miller, two special godsons, Brian Miller and Eric Heinritz, and numerous treasured nieces and nephews who each held a special place in his heart. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, William and Martha (Tuma) Wuhrmann, his brothers Roger and Jerry, and his sister Joan.
An avid outdoorsman, Dale found joy in the quiet beauty of nature-whether hunting or simply breathing in the fresh air of a place he loved. His appreciation for the outdoors was matched only by his appreciation for people. Dale had a gift for making others feel seen, valued, and at ease. His jokes were legendary, his timing impeccable, and his ability to brighten someone’s day effortless.
His strong faith in God shaped his life, his character, and the way he loved others. Dale lived with gratitude, humility, and a steadfast belief in the goodness of the world and the promise of eternal peace.
Above all, Dale was a wonderful man-steadfast, loving, and endlessly generous. His legacy lives on in the family he nurtured, the friendships he forged, and the countless moments of laughter he sparked throughout his life.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
