Henschel, Daniel D. Taken from us suddenly and too soon on October 9, 2014 at the age of 65. Son of the late Herbert and Lillian Henschel. Preceeded in death by brother Richard and sister Joyce. Survived by wife and best friend Linda (nee Chiroff) and daddy's girl, Karen. Dear brother in law of Andrea (Jim) Chiroff and Lee (Jette) Chiroff. Uncle of Callie (Aaron) Schlicht, Katherine Chiroff and Lee (Shawn) Chiroff, Jimmy (Sherri) West, Jean (Dan) Turk, and Jay West. Also survived by several other nieces and nephews. Dan was known as a master video poker player who enjoyed hunting, bowling, golfing, gambling and handicapping the horses. He will be missed by family, neighbors and many friends. Visitation, Tuesday, October 14 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 6881 S. 51st Street, Franklin, 4 PM until 5:45 PM with funeral service at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the American Lung Association or American Diabetes Association.
