Daniel (Dan) R. Geller, a dedicated professional and beloved family man, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026, in Wauwatosa with his son by his side following a lengthy illness. Born on October 17, 1957, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Daniel was a lifelong Wisconsinite who carried his heritage with pride.
Daniel built a distinguished career as an auto sales and service manager, dedicating over 35 years to the automotive industry. A graduate of trade school for automotive repair, he combined technical expertise with a genuine passion for his work. Throughout his career, he became a mentor and guide to many, sharing his knowledge generously and helping to shape the lives of numerous individuals within the industry. This mentorship stands as one of Daniel’s proudest accomplishments and a lasting legacy to those fortunate enough to have learned from him.
Beyond his professional life, Daniel was a devoted father and grandfather. He cherished spending time with his son, Ryan Geller, and his grandchildren Sophia, Maddelyn, and Grayson—moments that brought him immense joy and enriched his days. Daniel’s love extended deeply to his family, grounding him throughout his life.
His personal interests reflected his strong Wisconsin roots; he was an avid golfer and a passionate follower of all Wisconsin sports, embodying the spirit and camaraderie that sports inspire. Daniel’s enthusiasm and dedication were evident whether he was on the golf course or cheering for his favorite teams.
Daniel was born to Donald and Joyce Geller, who proceeded him in death.
He is survived by his beloved son and grandchildren. Daniel’s life was marked by dedication—to his craft, his family, and his community—and he leaves behind a legacy of kindness, mentorship, and steadfast commitment.
