Darrell spent over 40 years in wholesale pharmaceutical sales, finishing up his career with a smaller company that sent him traveling to all of the small town pharmacies across the state of Wisconsin before retiring at the age of 70. Darrell "Skip" was someone that never met a stranger, he would ask about how your day was even if he didn’t know you and genuinely mean it.
He was an avid Wisconsin sports team fan of the Packers, the Bucks , and the Brewers. He loved them all. He also spread his love for the outdoors to his children and grandchildren. Truly enjoyed the yearly fishing trips to Canada fishing for walleye and pike. Wade in streams for trout, turkey hunt in the spring, golf in the summer and deer hunt in the fall. An active bowler, playing in two leagues a week at the age of 88 while still carrying a 190 handicap and throwing a 14lb ball.
His never ending love will carry on through his loved ones in remembrance of a man that lived a life that Jesus has called us all to live. One of the most kind, caring, generous individual you would ever meet, along with the best joke teller around. So grateful and blessed to have called him our dad and grandpa. He will be extremely missed by all who knew him.
Enormous gratitude to the most wonderful staff at the St. Luke's ICU for their unwavering care, love and support.
