David M. Datka, passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 61 after a short but extensive and invasive battle with cancer. His passing brings deep sorrow to those who knew and loved him, and his memory will be held close by family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Linda; his brothers, Paul and Steven (Denise); his sisters, Ruth (Phil) Mitchell, Jennifer (Kirk) Hedman and Eileen (Scott) Peterson. Each of them carries forward the memory of David’s life and the bond they shared with him.

David was preceded in death by his father, Gordon.

David's family and friends will always mourn his loss, but we shall also remember the strength and courage he showed us throughout his illness. He will forever hold a lasting place in the hearts of people closest to him. May these connections with family and friends forever be a lasting part of his legacy.
